Brendan Walsh, Inside Sales Representative

Why did you choose to join the Datanomix Team?

Datanomix left a strong impression on me throughout the interview process. The opportunity to work with manufacturers during today’s unique period of digital transformation was compelling. The Fusion product's disruptive potential and the high-growth rate of Datanomix technology reinforced my decision.

What makes you excited about your upcoming role and working with Datanomix customers?

I am thrilled to play a key role in helping businesses navigate new technologies and to work with customers on a simple production monitoring solution that allows them to achieve and surpass their factory output goals. The opportunity to work with manufacturers at a time when machine automation and factory intelligence solutions are more important than ever is exciting.

Prior to Datanomix, what were you doing? How can that help you in your current position?

I previously worked as a Product Manager at Cohen & Steers, an asset management firm in New York. I learned a great deal about refining complex concepts into more straightforward solutions that allowed investors to achieve their long-term goals. I believe the skills and experience I gained can be applied directly to Datanomix customers and help them improve the flow of information from operations centers to the shop floor.

What is one experience in your career that has helped shape who you are?

At Cohen & Steers, I led an initiative that mobilized new Bloomberg technologies to enhance product and market intelligence across several asset classes. This exercise helped me gain a lasting appreciation for the significant impact that new technologies  can bring to an organization.

Where can we find you on the weekends?  How do you like to spend your free time?

I spend my free time working towards my weekly mileage goals as I continue to train for the Manchester Marathon this fall. On weekends you can find me running any of the rail trails throughout New Hampshire and Maine, or flying racing drones with the Boston UAV group.
